CAIRO – 6 December 2017: The Egyptian Football Association received an official offer on Wednesday from a marketing company, the name of which was not mentioned, to arrange a friendly match between the Egyptian national team and the Bulgarian team.

This friendly match is set to take place in March when the Egyptian team will be on a training camp in preparation for the 2018 World Cup, according to Youm7.

The offer that EFA received included the official approval of the Bulgarian Football Association to confront the Pharaohs in any European country chosen by the Pharaohs.

The marketing company, which sent the offer, has already arranged two friendly matches for the Saudi team in November with Bulgaria and Portugal.

Egypt has qualified for the World Cup after it led its group in the African qualifiers; the team managed to secure its place in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The national team head coach Hector Cuper has decided not to arrange any friendly matches before the World Cup draw, after Egypt was placed in a group with Russia, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay on December 1, the EFA began to arrange friendly matches as a kind of practice for the national team.
