CAIRO – 11 November 2017: Cesc Fàbregas feels very happy with his family in London. The Chelsea midfielder explained to “Vanity Fair” magazine that he has no regrets about returning to the London capital after leaving Barcelona in 2014.

Fàbregas starred in one of the most painful leaks of the ‘Barca’ youth team when he decided to leave La Masia to go to Arsenal with only 16 years.

"Sometimes my companions were put to play with the elders and I, who was the captain, I stayed with those of my age, I saw that they trusted more in them than in me. For that, and other reasons, I decided to come to England." he assured.

The midfielder remembered the coach who made him triumph: "Wenger signed me when I was a Barça youngster and he put me to training with legends: Herny, Pirès, Vieira, Campbell. He took me out to play, he did not always do it well, but he always kept calling me, he bet a lot for me, I owe him a lot."

In 2011 Fàbregas returned to Barcelona. However, things did not go so well in the Camp Nou and ended up returning to London, although this time signing for Chelsea, where he is very satisfied.

"I've found absolute happiness at Chelsea. The family is loving it, totally adapted to London life, the fans love me, I'm too happy to change. From Barcelona I only miss my family and friends."
