Cairo - 10 November 2017: Sergio Ramos, captain of Real Madrid, said on Wednesday that he would be delighted with a possible signing of Neymar for the white club, admitting that it is easier for the Brazilian to sign for Madrid through Paris Saint-Germain as opposed to directly from Barcelona.

The Madrid captain told Cadena Ser, "I like to have the best and it is clear Neymar is one of them. Maybe it was easier for him to go to PSG, instead of directly to Real Madrid. They are personal decisions— you never know what can happen because football goes around a lot.”

Neymar is said to be unhappy with life under Unai Emery and playing in the French league. He missed the weekend thumping of Angers. His absence was not due to injury. A few days earlier, he played and scored against Anderlecht in the Champions League.

For Ramos, Neymar would give "a plus of quality" to Madrid. "I already have the door open for him if he wants to come—I also have a good relationship with him." Ramos even joked about the Brazilian's parties, "We'll talk about your sister's birthday," he said.

On Cristiano Ronaldo's scoring crisis, Ramos assured, "I see him well," but he did not forget to give a touch of attention to the Portuguese for his attitude in the field.

"We're not going to change Cristiano at this point, I'm not surprised he's going to be pissed if he does not score and we won 3-0. We know how to live with their way of being, but we know that maybe it is not the best,” he said. "But he plays for the Golden Ball and individual awards, you cannot blame [Cristiano] for anything.”

However, he also criticized Cristiano for having assured that Madrid had a worse template than last year for the loss of Morata and James. "I do not agree— I think it's an advantage opinion because in the Super Cups that we won at the beginning of the season, nobody remembered."
