CAIRO – 25 October 2017: Bristol City surprised football fans at the EFL Cup’s fourth round when they changed the game's result from a (0-1) loss against Premier League club, Crystal Palace, to a massive (4-1) victory. Bristol City became the only team outside the Premier League to compete in the EFL Cup quarter finals.

Bristol City has a great story to tell about the EFL Cup this year as they defeated three Premier League teams in the competition: Watford in the second round (3-2), Stoke City in the third round (2-0), and Crystal Palace in the fourth round.

Bristol City continue their amazing run this season as the team places seventh in the championship with 21 points; they are only seven points behind Wolverhampton Wanderers who top the table.

Five Premier League clubs qualified to the EFL Cup quarter finals: Arsenal, Bournemouth, Manchester City, Manchester United and Leicester City.

Two other Premier League teams will qualify to the quarter finals when Chelsea plays Everton, and Tottenham Hotspur plays West Ham United on Wednesday night.
