CAIRO – 24 October 2017: The Confederation of African Football (CAF) posted on Twitter the best XI players of the second round of the African Champions League semifinals. Six Al Ahly players are included in the list.

Al-Ahly defeated the Tunisian team Etoile Du Sahel 6-2 in the second leg of the competition at Borg Al Arab stadium in Alexandria, Egypt. Al-Ahly had lost 2-1 in the first leg match in Stade Olympique de Sousse in Tunisia.

CAF chose the best XI players of the round after all semifinal matches concluded. Al-Ahly and Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Club will face each other in the final.

The best XI came as follows:

Goalkeeper: Zouhair Laaroubi (Wydad Athletic Club).

Defenders: Youssef Rabeh (Wydad Athletic Club), Mohamed Naguib (Al-Ahly), Ali Maaloul (Al-Ahly).

Midfielders: Ramy Rabia (Al-Ahly), Moamen Zakaria (Al-Ahly), Amir Sayoud (USM Alger), Achraf Bencharki (Wydad Athletic Club), Mohamed Ounajem (Wydad Athletic Club).

Forwards: Walid Azarou (Al-Ahly), Junior Ajayi (Al-Ahly).
