CAIRO – 14 October 2017: Lepzig striker Timo Werner will not travel with his team to Dortmund for the vital clash against Borussia Dortmund as the noise of Dortmund’s fans will affect his performance.

Werner, 21, is suffering from blockages in his cervical spine and the temporomandibular joint that connects the jaw to the ear, and he is unable to focus or play in high noise.

Werner got substituted against Besiktas at the UEFA Champions League after only 30 minutes as he couldn’t stand Besiktas’ fans, known for their loudness.
