CAIRO – 5 October 2017: Bayern Munich`s former coach, Jupp Heynckes, 72, will succeed Carlo Ancelotti as head coach of the German championship club until the end of the season, Sport Bild said on its website on Thursday. The information has not been confirmed by any other source.

The 70s Ex-international wrote the most beautiful page of recent history of Bayern. He achieved ‘the triple’, Bundesliga – German Cup – Champions` League, in 2013. Champions` League was the last victory of the Bavarian team in the European reign competition.

"Bayern takes Jupp Heynckes out of retirement," writes Sport Bild, stressing that this unexpected choice responds to certain logic.

To put order in a very disturbed dressing room, the club resorted to a man with authority, good knowledge of the club, and its ins and outs.

Bayern is currently third in the Bundesliga after seven matches and a severe defeat against Paris Saint-Germain (3-0) in the Champions` League group stage, which led to the dismissal of Ancelotti.

The two Germans, former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel and current Hoffenheim coach Julian Nagelsmann, are unaware of the great Bavarian club. Bayern`s board preferred to turn to experience for this critical situation.

According to Sport Bild, Heynckes is still in talks with Bayern`s board and he hesitated to take the role of the coach again. He may accept the mission until the end of the season, which would give the club time to look for a reasonable solution to set up a longtime project with a promising coach.
