CAIRO – 28 September 2017: Bayern Munich officials, according to Skysports, and ESPN, have announced that Carlo Ancelotti, Bayern`s manager, has been sacked on Thursday afternoon. Willy Sagnol, former Bayern Munich legend, is set to replace him as manager.

Ancelotti is sacked following Champions League humiliating defeat to Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 on Wednesday.

The 58-year-old Italian replaced the Spanish coach, Pep Guardiola, in 2016 as manager of Bayern Munich, after he managed Real Madrid for two years in Spain.

Carlo managed to win the Bundesliga and two Super Cups with Bayern. He managed 60 games for the German giants. They scored 156 goals and conceded 50, with 42 wins, 9 draws and 9 defeats with Ancelotti.

The Italian has won three Champions League titles as well as four league titles in Italy, Spain, England and Germany.
