LIorente extends his contract with Real Madrid

CAIRO – 24 September 2017: Real Madrid announced on Sunday that they have reached an agreement with their Spanish midfielder, Marcos LIorente to extend his contract with the club till 2021.

“I am thrilled to extend my contract with Real Madrid. I dreamed of playing here when I was little and it is the club of my life and all of my family,” LIorente said after signing his contract extension.

LIorente is a Real Madrid academy product, he joined the club when he was just 13, and he was promoted through the youth rankings till he joined the first team in 2015.

LIorente added to Real Madrid’s website: “I cannot wait to grow with this club but I must be patient. I am young and I know there is strong competition here, I am hoping to learn as I go.”

LIorente, 22, left the club in 2016 to join Deportivo Alaves on a one year loan and he returned to the club this season.

Real Marid’s manager, Zinedine Zidane, started counting on LIorente this season; the Spanish appeared on three La Liga games with the club.
