CAIRO – 22 August 2017: The South African Bidvest FC announced on Tuesday their new player Amr Gamal in a press conference on Tuesday. Gamal is transferring on loan for one season.

The news was announced at the headquarters of the club in front of reporters and journalists. Gamal was at the South African Embassy in Cairo on August 16 to finalize visa procedures required to fly to South Africa on Thursday.

The 26-year-old striker joined Al Ahly team in 2013. He had previously played the U23 team for three seasons. He also played in 102 games, scored 30 goals, and 10 assists. Gamal’s last goal with Al Ahly came in the final of the Egyptian Cup against Al Masry. He scored the equalizing goal in the 117th minute of the game. His goal revitalized the team spirit. In the final minutes of the game Ahmed Fathi scored a classic goal ending the game.
