CAIRO – 21 August 2017: Neymar, Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) winger, spoke on August 20 following PSG’s 6-2 victory against Toulouse in the second fixture of the French League.

Talking to Football España, Neymar stated his opinion on the situation of his former club Barcelona. He addressed his opinion about Barcelona’s current board as well as talking about the four years he spent at FC Barcelona.

Neymar said, “When I arrived, everything started well but then... at Barcelona, there are directors that shouldn't be there. I'm very sad with them," citing from Goal.

Neymar concluded "I had four very happy years there, but Barcelona deserves much better. I have a lot of friends there, I hope things get better for Barcelona and that they go back to being a team that can compete," according to Football España.

Neymar left Barcelona to join Paris Saint Germain on August 11 after the French club, owned by Qatari businessman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, paid his buy-out clause of €222 million ($261 million).
