CAIRO – 21 August 2017 – Amr Gamal prepares himself to start a new period in his football career with South African team Bidvest.

Al Ahly striker Amr Gamal will begin training in his new team on Monday in preparation for facing Free State Stars on Wednesday in the second round of the National First Division (South African premier league).

The club is awaiting the international card of the player, which will be issued in the next two days, before Wednesday's meeting to ensure Amr Gamal's participates in it.

The Egyptian striker had passed the medical examination in his new team on Friday and saw the loss of Bidvest in front of Cape Town City with a 1-0 win in the opening round of the competition.

Gamal has joined Bidvest in a loan transfer from Al Ahly for a full season in the current summer transfer market. The player then travelled to South Africa after he had helped Al Ahly achieve the Egyptian Cup title after he entered the game as a substitute and scored the equalizing goal for his team at the 117th minute of the game after his team-mate Ahmed Fathy scored the second goal at the 123rd minute.
