Real Madrid won over Barcelona 2-0 on Wednesday night at Madrid Stadium (Santiago Bernabeu) to win the Spanish Super Cup. Real Madrid won the first leg in Barcelona 3-1.

Real Madrid dominated the game from the first moment, despite Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde’s attempts to control the midfield by changing his formation to play 3-5-2 instead of the 4-3-3 formation in the first leg.

Real Madrid wonder kid Marco Asensio scored Real Madrid’s first goal after only three minutes of the starting whistle with an amazing, massive strike from afar.

Real Madrid continued their attempts to score the second goal, succeeding through striker Karim Benzema to end the first half 2-0 for Real Madrid.

Barcelona tried to return to the game in the second half, but Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas saved all their attacks.

In the end, Real Madrid won the Spanish Super Cup for the 10th time.
