CAIRO – 4 August2017: Paris Saint Germain(PSG) officially signed on Thursday a five year contract with Brazilian Winger, Neymar Jr Da Silva from FC Barcelona for 222m Euros, Neymar signing was a big humiliation to Barcelona.
The summer started with many rumors linking PSG star, Marco Verratti with moving to Barcelona. Barcelona managerial board tried a lot to negotiate with PSG to sign Verratti but PSG refused. Barcelona board revealed that they will do their best till the last day of the transfer market to sign Verratti and they will try to convince the player to join them.
PSG response to Barcelona interest to their star was signing of one of Barcelona’s best players, Neymar Jr without even negotiating with the club but with paying Neymar's buy-out clause.
Paris sent a hidden message to Barcelona, you are bigger club, but we have more money.
PSG Twitter account sent another hidden message to Barcelona by posting Verratti photo with the words " Hope you are having a great day", Paris Saint Germain not only protected their precious talent, Verratti but they added another great player from Barcelona to their squad.
Few days before Neymar's tranfer to Paris, Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique posted a photo with Neymar saying " he stays", but at the end Neymar moved to Paris, their twitter account posted Neymar's photo saying " he signs".
Barcelona fans started to burn Neymar's shirts, they called him " traitor " after he was an icon to the club and the city, Barcelona board are humiliated and they have to respond, on the other hand Paris Saint Germain fans are so happy, they added another grear player to their squad and they became a massive force in Europe under Neymar's command.
