England - 5 August 2017: Championship new season starts Friday night at Stadium of Light in the North East of England when Sunderland hosts Derby County, while Millwall will travel from London to Nottingham to face Nottingham Forest.

Championship new season starts with six new clubs from last season, three clubs relegated from the premier League, Sunderland, Hull City and Middlesbrough while three other teams promoted from League one, Millwall, Bolton Wanderers and Sheffield United.

Many English derbies will be played this season, London derbies between Millwall, Fulham, Brentfordnd Queens Park Rangers, Birmingham Derby between Aston Villa and Birmingham City and Sheffield derby between Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday.

Aston Villa signed two Premier League experts in their new campaign to promotion, English former Captain, John Terry from Chelsea and Ahmed EL-Mohamady, their local rivals, Birmingham City kept the veteran manager, Harry Redknapp to lead the club in the new season.

Jaap Stam will try to complete Reading campaign to the Premier League this season after he was so close to promotion last year.

Championship has a high competition between the clubs and no one can expect the teams who will promote or relegate in such high competitive competition.
