CAIRO – 2 August 2017 : Egypt’s Al Ahly will face Jordanian team Al Faisaly in the semi-final of the Arab Club Championship at 8 pm on Wednesday at Borg al-Arab Stadium.

The Arab Club Championship resumes its matches on Wednesday and Thursday. Fath Union Sport from Morocco will face Esperance Sportive from Tunisia on Thursday. On Wednesday, Al Ahly will meet Al Faisaly for the second time at 8 pm. The two teams faced each other in the first round of the group stage. Al Ahly and Al Faisaly were in group A, where Al Faisaly managed to lead the group; however, Al Ahly came in second after they won two matches. Al Faisaly defeated Al Ahly with one goal.

Al Faisaly coach Nebojša Jovovic said earlier that he has made his players ready for the confrontation, especially after the return of Hossam el-Badry. El-Badry will lead, along with other stars of the Red Devils team.
