EFA sacked Hani Ramzy – Egypttoday

CAIRO - 27 July 2017: Egyptian Football Association ‘EFA’ announced on Wednesday the dismissal of Egyptian Local Team manager, Hani Ramzy.

“EFA members Magdy Abdel Ghany, Ahmed Megahed and Khaled Latif met on Wednesday to discuss Ramzy situation, they decided to dismiss Ramzi and his assistant coaches Tarek Sayed and Tarek Said,” EFA member, Hazem Imam told Egypt Today.

EFA took their decision after Ramzi made a deal with Al Ittihad to be their new coach next season.

EFA gave U-18 Egyptian coach, Hamada Sedki the responsibility of managing the team in their decisive matches against Morocco in 2018 African Nations Championship qualifiers.

Al-Ittihad Sporting Club in Alexandria announced on Tuesday that Ramzy will be Al-Ittihad new coach in the next season, but Ramzi decided to delay his new job till he ends his mission with the National team before being sacked.

Ramzy started his management career in Enppi before coaching Egyptian national team U-20 when he qualified to 2012 Olympic Games in London, Ramzy coached Belgium side, Lierse for one year then he coached Wadi Degla, Enppi and Dubai.
