CAIRO, 7 December 2024: The General Assembly of the Egyptian Rugby Federation has officially approved the unopposed election of Hossam Saheb as President of the Federation for a new term from 2024 to 2028.
Three out of four eligible sports entities attended the General Assembly meeting, including As-hab Al-Giyad, the Faculty of Physical Education in Abu Qir, and Nasr City, while Talae Al-Usstoul did not participate.
Hossam Saheb’s list secured leadership of the Egyptian Rugby Federation unopposed, as no other candidates submitted their nominations.
The winning list, which was elected unopposed, includes:
- Hossam Saheb as President.
- Members: Hassan Ahmed Khaled, Mohamed Mokhtar El-Belgehy, Ziad El-Shazly, Mohamed Ahmed Nasr, Tarek Sharaf, Maryam Mowafy, and Shereen Ahmed.
The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Rugby Federation consists of one President and seven members.
