Mostafa Madbouly congratulates Zamalek on winning the CAF Confederation Cup

CAIRO, 22 May 2024:  Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, congratulated the Zamalek club, after winning the African Confederation Cup championship, for the second time in its history, at the expense of the Moroccan team, Nahdet Berkane, in the match that brought them together last Sunday, at Cairo Stadium.
 
Madbouly wished Al-Ahly Club to win the African Champions League championship in its next match against Esperance of Tunisia, which will bring them together at eight o’clock next Saturday evening, in the second leg of the African Champions League final.
 
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly chaired the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers to discuss a number of important files and topics, and to make decisions that would advance work in various sectors of the state.
 
The Prime Minister congratulated the Zamalek club on its victory against the Nahdet Berkane team and achieving the African Confederation Cup for the second time in its history, expressing his wishes for victory for the Al-Ahly club in its match next week against Esperance in the Champions League final.
 
He also expressed his wishes to the national team for success in its upcoming matches, stressing that all the successes and wins achieved by our clubs, as well as the national team, raise the flag of Egypt in international forums, wishing victory for our teams in the various games in all tournaments on the local and international arenas.
