Al Ahly smash Al Ittihad 4-1 in the Egyptian League

CAIRO, May 8, 2024: Al-Ahly continued their strong performances in the Egyptian league and achieved a great 4-1 victory over Al-Ittihad during the match that brought them together on Tuesday evening, at Cairo Stadium in the postponed match of the seventh round of the Premier League championship.

Wissam Abu Ali, Reda Selim, Omar Kamal, and Mahmoud Kahraba of Al-Ahly scored in the 28, 32, 42, and 65th minutes, while Boateng of Al-Ittihad scored in the 58th minute.

With this great victory, Al-Ahly continues its march towards the top of the league becoming seventh instead of tenth with 30 points from 14 matches, while Al-Ittihad’s balance stopped at 32 points from 21 matches and remains in fifth place.

Al-Ahly’s formation for the match included: Mustafa Shobeir, Mohamed Hani, Rami Rabia, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Omar Kamal, Akram Tawfiq, Marwan Attia, Emam Ashour, Hussein Al-Shahat, Reda Selim, and Wissam Abu Ali.

While the formation of Al-Ittihad included: Al-Mahdi Suleiman, Hisham Salah, Saif Taqa, Mustafa Ibrahim, Karim Al-Deeb, Omar Al-Wahsh, Khaled Al-Ghandour, Moro Salifu, Ahmed Eid, Mabulolu and Abdel-Ghani Muhammad.
