Carrick wants to win the Premier League again with Manchester United – Reuters

CAIRO - 21 July 2017: Michael Carrick, Manchester United Captain, talked on Thursday about his feelings before the new season starts, Carrick talked about the new season ambitions.

“It’s pretty much win the league or nothing for me; I can’t get my head around that to say top four is acceptable, I know we’ve had changes and you can’t expect to win the league every year, but you’ve got to set out to do that,” Carrick told The Telegraph.

Carrick, 35 years, continued talking to telegraph about Manchester United last season, he said “I said after the FA Cup win last year, for this new squad, to get that winning feeling is important. You can’t underestimate how important that can be. We managed to build on that last season and we won again.”

Carrick, who played 43 games for England, spoke about Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, he said “Everywhere Jose has been, he’s won, he’s a winner and his desire and his drive to win rubs off on everyone.”

He moved to Manchester United in 2006 from Tottenham Hotspurs, he won five Premier League titles with the club.
