CAIRO –20 July 2017:Aston Villa has announced on its official website on Wednesday the signing of Egyptian Ahmed El Mohamady, Hull City right back, for three seasons.
El Mohamady has already played with the current coach of Aston Villa, Steve Bruce, in Sunderland and Hull City when he was coaching those teams, who insisted to sign the Egyptian to join the team.
El Mohamady is considered as the third signing for Aston Villa in the current transfer market, after the team signed former Chelsea captain John Terry and 24-year-old goalkeeper Sam Johnston from Manchester United.
The Egyptian will join his new team’s training camp in Germany in preparations for the upcoming season.
EL Mohamady is very happy about joining his new club, as he said, “Aston Villa is a great club and I am thrilled to join – it’s one of the very biggest clubs in England and its history and tradition is there for all to see,” Aston Villa’s official website reported.
