Al Ahly and Zamalek face off on Thursday night at Abdullah Al Faisal Hall in Gezira at the final of the 2023 African Clubs Championship for the Winner's Cup.

The two teams meet again after less than two weeks when Al Ahly defeated Zamalek 27-24 to clinch the African Super Cup title and book a place in the IHF Super Globe for the second straight season.

The Red Eagles have enjoyed a phenomenal season so far with a domestic double and the Super Cup title and proved their superiority over their arch-rivals, having defeated them three times in their route to the treble.

Tonight, Al Ahly will play at home again and their fans will pack the arena to try to push their team to another title to complete a historic season.

On the other hand, Zamalek have been suffering this season and failed to put their hands on any trophy and they know that they have a last chance to rescue their unsuccessful season.

Zamalek fans will put aside all the disappointments they went through this season if their players succeeded to celebrate the African title in the arena of their rivals.

Zamalek made a big change to their coaching staff after losing the Super Cup, having sacked their Spanish manager, Mateo Garralda, and they appointed Ahmed Ramadan as a caretaker manager.

The game starts at 7:00 PM (Cairo Time).
