CAIRO, 26 December 2022: Zamalek tied 0-0 with the Arab Contractors, in the match that brought them together on Sunday evening, at the El Mokawloon Stadium, in the ninth round of the Premier League competition.
 
Zamalek’s balance increased to 21 points, in second place in the league standings table, after playing 9 matches, winning 6 matches, drawing 3, and not losing any matches. The White team players scored 17 goals, and conceded 3 goals, while the Arab Contractors occupied the 7th place with 12 points.

In the 20th minute, Arab Contractor's Joseph Oshaya hit a powerful ball that was blocked by Zamalek's goalkeeper Mohamed Awad and saved his goal from a the first goal.
 
With the start of the second half, Zamalek's Portuguese coach Josevaldo Ferreira pushed Saif El-Din El-Jaziri instead of Youssef Hassan, Amr El-Sisi instead of Omar Gaber, and Mahmoud Shikabala instead of Youssef Osama Nabih, and in the 71st minute Ferreira pushed Nabil Dunga instead of Ashraf Rouqa.
 
In the 92nd minute, Muhammad Abu Al-Saud shone and blocked a powerful shot by Saif Al-Jaziri, depriving Zamalek of the winning goal.
