Handball: Egypt faces Cape Verde in the African Nations Championship final

CAIRO, 18 July 2022: The Egyptian handball team will meet Cape Verde counterpart in the final of the African Nations Championship, which is bein held in Egypt and among its fans at Hassan Mostafa Hall in th 6th of Ocotber City at 09:00 PM.
 
The technical staff of the handball team, led by technical director Roberto Barrondo Garcia, is counting on the experienced players and youth elements, including Ali Zain, Ahmed Al-Ahmar, Akram Yousry, Muhammad Sanad, Yahya Khaled and Hassan Walid Qaddah.
 
Egypt's handball team succeeded in qualifying for the final of the African Nations Cup after defeating Tunisia with a score of 29/27 in the semi-finals of the tournament. The first half ended with a score of 17/16 in favor of the Pharaohs in a match that witnessed the brilliance of both Yahya Khaled and Ali Zain in a match that witnessed a strong rivalry between both teams, but the experiences of the Pharaohs decided the game by a goal difference.
 
While the second half witnessed a remarkable brilliance by the player Omar Al-Wakeel Bakkar and with him Yahya Al-Daraa amid the focus of the Pharaohs to maintain progress and achieve victory.
 
The Pharaohs aspire to make the fans happy on their land after the failure to win the gold medal in the Mediterranean Games in Algeria, and to be satisfied with winning the silver by losing from Spain in the final by a single goal difference of 28/27.
 

The Pharaohs reached the World Cup after advancing to the semi-finals of the African competition, being held in Egypt, with a dominant win over Algeria.
