CAIRO - 26 May 2022: Al Ahly squad touched down on Wednesday night in Casablanca, the city that will host the CAF Champions League final for the second straight year.

The Egyptian giants are the back-to-back defending champions and they have the chance to be the first team in the history to win the CAF Champions League title for three straight years.

Last year, Mohamed Sherif, Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Amr El Soulia secured a 3-0 win for the Cairo giants over South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs to lift the 10th title in the club's history.

The Red Devils are boosted with the return of four key players to the squad as El Soulia, Hamdy Fathy, Aliou Dieng and Mohamed Abdelmonem received the green light to participate in the final.

CAF announced on Wednesday that Al Ahly will have 10,000 seats for their travelling fans at Mohamed V Stadium and CAF will allocate the same number of seats to Wydad Casablanca, with 20,000 tickets made available to the general public.

The record ten-time champions, Al Ahly, hope to return from Morocco with the 11th title and cement their status as the most successful club in the history of the competition.
