CAIRO - 21 May 2022: Al Ahly will face Enppi on Saturday night in the Egyptian Premier League with the Red Eagles coach Pitso Mosimane aiming to find the right formula in the league.

The club had a fantastic campaign in the CAF Champions League and they managed to book their place in the final but they do not enjoy the same success in the league.

The Red Devils failed to win any league match since their 1-0 over Al Ittihad of Alexandria on 6 April. Since then they achieved only three points in their last four league games.

Al Ahly will miss many key players in the match as Hamdy Fathy, Amr El Soulia, Aliou Dieng and Mohamed Abdelmonem are sidelined for injury.

Al Ahly are third in the league table with 34 points after 15 matches and they are seven points behind the leaders, Zamalek, who played 19 games.

Despite the team's huge success in the CAF Champions League, having lifted the trophy in two seasons in a row and they are on the brink of a historic treble, Al Ahly fans have been critical to Mosimane and his boys as they struggle when it comes to league matches.

Enppi are in high spirits after defeating the league leaders, Zamalek, 2-0 before fighting back to secure a draw against Arab Contractors SC last week.

Al Ahly players know they will not have an easy mission tonight at the Arab Contractors Stadium.

The game starts at 9:00 PM.
