CAIRO-18 November 2021: Zamalek head coach, Patrice Carteron, believes that his team has to turn the page of their 5-3 loss in the Cairo derby against Al Ahly in the Egyptian League.

The defending champions were 5-1 down after 60 minutes but they managed to score two late goals in the last 15 minutes of the game.

“We have been unbeaten for 25 matches before the loss against Al Ahly. We were unlucky in the game and we conceded five goals. We have to turn the page of this loss and correct our mistakes.” Carteron said.

The White Knights will be back to action in the league on Friday when they face Ismaily away from home.

Carteron added “They have a new coach and they will play with a new game plan. It will be a difficult match but we have to be focused to return to winning track.”

Zamalek are fifth is the league table with 6 points and they are three points behind Al Ahly and Pyramids, who share the top of the table.
