CAIRO-5 November 2021: For the first time in 10 years, the Cairo derby games in the domestic league will see the presence of the passionate fans of the biggest two teams in Egypt in the stands. 
 
Two thousand of Al Ahly and Zamalek fans will attend the game, with the reds chanting from the left side and the whites supporting from the right side.
 
The last derby game in the league that saw the attendance of football fans was played in 2011 and ended in a 2-2 draw. 
 
Having the fans in the stands of the cathedral of Egyptian football, Cairo International Stadium, watching the biggest game in the country is a huge step towards the gradual return of fans to the stadiums in the country. 
 
Tazkarti, the organizers of the Egyptian League matches, issued a statement before the game, revealing that Al Ahly fans will enter the stadium through Al Rashdan street while Zamalek fans will take Al Nasr street in their way to the stadium. 
 
Al Ahly, Zamalek face off tonight at Cairo stadium with the two teams are going into the game in perfect conditions as both teams had a strong start to the league with two wins in the first two weeks.
