CAIRO-1 October 2021: Jamie Redknapp, former Liverpool captain, believes that Mohamed Salah, the Reds’ Egyptian winger, will be a big threat to Manchester City when the two English giants face off on Sunday.

“I've seen a lot of Mohamed Salah, I've watched him closely, and he's playing as well as I've ever seen him. Salah's all-round game right now is phenomenal. His work rate, his desire, his goals, his assists… I haven't seen him in better form.” Redknapp said.

Salah is having a great start to the new season with Liverpool with the Egyptian netting 8 goals in 8 appearances with the Reds this season in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.

The Egyptian winger founds his way to Liverpool’s top 10 all-time scorers list and he is the club’s fourth top goal scorer in the club’s history in the Premier League with 100 goals.

Redknapp added “He's in the form of his life. He's confident, strong and he's got the bit between his teeth. He's enjoying having Virgil van Dijk back and knowing he's playing in a team that can win the title again. He's in wonderful form and it's a joy to watch him.”

The Egyptian has an incredible record against The Citizens, having visited the net of Pep Guardiola’s side six times in 12 matches.
