Cairo-17 July 2021: Al Ahly defeated South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs 3-0 on Saturday night at Mohamed V Stadium to win the CAF Champions League title. 
 
The Red Devils won the game thanks to three second-half goals from Mohamed Sherif, Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Amr El Soulia. 
 
Al Ahly extended their record as the club with most CAF Champions League titles to a total of 10 and they are five titles ahead of Zamalek and TP Mazembe. 
 
Al Ahly, who entered the game as the reigning champions, achieved back-to-back titles for the third time in the club's history after 2005/2006 and 2012/2013. 
 
Al Ahly's captain Mohamed El Shenawy had a special night as he became the first captain in the club's history to lift the trophy for two straight seasons. 
 
Pitso Mosimane, Al Ahly's head coach, followed the steps of the club's legendary coach Manuel Jose and guided the team to win the title twice in a row. 
 
The Red Eagles secured their spot in the FIFA Club World Cup for the seventh time in history. Also, the Red Devils will face Raja Casablanca in th CAF Super Cup final.
