Cairo-17 July 2021: Kaizer Chiefs Colombian winger Leonardo Castro wants to make history with his team and achieve the CAF Champions League title on Saturday when they face Al Ahly.

"It is a final game and one thing we know is that we have the desire to bring the star home. To make our families and fans happy and to bring smiles to the faces of people." The winger said.

Castro believes that he and his teammates have a golden chance to put their names in the history books with a beautiful story of going against all odds to win the prestigious title.

Castro knows Al Ahly's head coach Pitso Mosimane very well as they together won the title in 2016 with Mamelodi Sundowns after defeating Zamalek in the final and the Colombian hopes to defeat his former coach when they meet tonight.

Castro added "It will be history if it happens. It is rare that South American players win the CAF Champions League. If we win the final it will be my second win. Not many Colombians players would have won the CAF Champions League and to do it with two teams will be historic."

The South African giants Kaizer Chiefs appear in the competition's final for the first time in history and they know they will be the underdogs against the 9-time champions.

The game starts at 9:00 PM (CAIRO TIME).
