CAIRO-25 June 2021: Al Ahly boss Pitso Mosimane announced the team squad for the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals against Tunisia's Esperance.

Mohamed Hany is ruled out of the game despite his return to the training sessions this week but his absence means that he is not fully fit to be back to action.

Al Ahly's squad for the game consists of: Mohamed El Shenawy, Ali Lotfy, Mostafa Shobier, Ali Maaloul, Ramy Rabia, Ayman Ashraf, Yasser Ibrahim, Badr Benoun, Akram Tawfik, Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, Mahmoud Wahid, Hamdy Fathy, Amr El Soulia, Aliou Dieng, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Hussein El Shahat, Taher Mohamed Taher, Mahmoud Kahraba, Walid Soliman, Junior Ajayi, Salah Mohsen, Walter Bwalya and Mohamed Sherif.

Esperance's delegation touched down in Cairo on Thursday and they were received at Cairo International Airport by Al Ahly president Mahmoud El Khatib.

Al Ahly achieved an important 1-0 win in the first leg in Tunisia thanks to a goal from Mohamed Sherif and they are heading to the home game with a slight advantage.

The Red Eagles want to secure their spot in the final and avoid the surprises of the Tunisians, who are famous for having better performances when they play away from home.

The winner of the tie will face the winner between South Africa's Kaiser Chiefs and Wydad Casablanca of Morocco. The first leg in Morocco ended with a 1-0 win for the visitors.
