CAIRO-27 May 2022: Good news are coming from Al Ahly camp in Doha as Ali Maaloul and Hamdy Fathy, Al Ahly players, are fully fit and ready for the CAF Super Cup game.

Ali Maaloul joined full training on Tuesday for the first time since February as the player has been sidelined since his injury in the hamstring muscle in the FIFA Club World Cup.

On the other hand, Hamdy Fathy is ready to be back to action after completing his recovery program from an injury in his arm during 2021 AFCON qualifiers with the national team.

Pitso Mosimane, Al Ahly's head coach, can now count on the two players, whose absence had affected the performance of the Red Devils.

Al Ahly, 2020 CAF Champions League winners, will face RS Berkane of Morocco, 2020 CAF Confederation Cup winners, in the CAF Super Cup at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha on Friday.

The Red Devils will play in front of their fans on Friday as 30% of the stadium's capacity are permitted to attend the game.

Al Ahly have a record 6 CAF Super Cup titles and they hope to defeat the Moroccan team and bring the trophy home for the first time since 2014.
