CAIRO – 7 July 2017: Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Barcelona goalkeeper, talked about the League title loss in the last fixture last year for Real Madrid. He also talked about his performance with the club.

“We lost the league by three points against a very strong opponent. In the end, they deserved it," Ter Stegen told Marca.com.

Ter Stegen talked about the new season with Barcelona, saying, “We will do our best to recover the title and be successful again next season."

Ter Stegen joined Barcelona in 2015 from German team Borussia Mönchengladbach, but only last season he became the starting goalkeeper in all competitions.

“I played 46 games; a new record for me. I have never done that before. I reached 45 in 2012/13 and winning the Spanish Cup was a success," Ter Stegen added to Marca.com.

Ter Stegen played three years at Barcelona, where he won two Spanish League titles, three Spanish Cup titles and the 2015 UEFA Champions League title.
