CAIRO-1 April 2021: Zamalek head coach Patrice Carteron believes that his team does not have big chances in the race to reach the CAF Champions League quarter-finals. However, they will fight to win the two remaining games in the group stage.

"It will be a difficult game. Our situation is complicated as we only have two points but we will fight to win the next two games in the group." Carteron told Zamalek official website ahead of the team's trip to Algeria.

Zamalek will have a win-or-die game against the Algerian giants MC Alger when the two teams face off on Saturday. Zamalek have to secure the three points to keep their hopes in the competition alive.

Carteron added "We will play the game against MC Alger as it it was a final. It is a difficult game and we have to win to stay in the race for the second qualifying ticket."

MC Alger are second in the group with 8 points, 2 points behind the group leaders Esperance, who secured their place in the quarter-finals after defeating Zamalek 1-0 in Cairo in the previous round.
