EgyptAir operates 38 international flights transferring 4K passengers

CAIRO – 15 August 2020: EgyptAir, the state-owned flag carrier, operated 38 international flights to different destinations carrying on board 4,000 passengers.

 

All precautionary measures inside the airport, and aboard the plan were taken to combat the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

 

Sources at the company said that it will operate a flight to Amsterdam, Athens, Brussels, Paris, Rome, Frankfurt, Geneva, London, Madrid, Muich, Bahrain, Vienna, Istanbul, Addis Ababa, Khartoum, Nairobi, Sharjah, Berlin, New York, Copenhagen, Baghdad, two flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and exceptional flight to Abha, Tunis, Dammam, Jeddan and Medina, in addition to three domestic flights to Sharm el-Sheikh and another one to Hurghada and Luxor. There will also be cargo fights.

 

Among the precautionary measures taken at the airport, social distances, wearing mass inside all halls, in addition to monitoring thermal cameras to spot passengers with temperatures exceeding normal measuring.

 

Also app passengers, flying crews and workers understand medical examination by the quarantine teams at Cairo Airport.
