During the meeting, held at the premises of the Ukrainian lawmakers, the two sides discussed means to boost cooperation in the tourism domain and efforts exerted to increase the number of Ukrainian tourists to Egypt.

This came during Anani’s current visit to Ukraine which falls as part of his tour of the Ukrainian capital and Minsk, the capital of Belarus, chairing a high-level Egyptian delegation, according to a statement by the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry.

The meeting was attended by members of the delegation and Egypt’s Ambassador to Ukraine Hossam Eddin Aly.

Ukraine is one of the most important tourism markets to Egypt and comes second after Germany in terms of the number of its tourists to Egypt.
