CAIRO – 7 May 2019: Dates provide our bodies with all the needed nutrients and energy depleted during fasting in the holy month of Ramadan, according to a report issued by boldsky website.

Studies have shown that eating dates on an empty stomach provides the body with many important benefits.

Dates contain a high percentage of potassium which contributes greatly to the regulation of blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

Dates also contribute to improving the heart condition and regulating cholesterol levels.
Additionally, dates contain a high percentage of calcium which helps maintain the health of bones and reduce exposure to fractures.

Moreover, dates provide the body with energy and positively affect its vitality especially when taken in the appropriate amount (3-7 dates).
