LG Egypt announces partnership with fierce game show ‘Al Abakera’

- LG Egypt takes new corporate social responsibility approach to support Egypt’s education systems

- The winners will win a trip to Seoul, South Korea, supported by LG

- Al Abakera game show premiered Thursday, November 29, in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education

Egypt, Cairo: In efforts to showcase its commitment towards education and innovation, LG Egypt launched its new unique corporate social responsibility initiative by partnering with Al Abakera (The Geniuses) game show, granting the winners a trip of a lifetime to Korea, for a chance to experience what the country has to offer and witness LG’s revolutionary technology.

Al Abakera, the game show with the largest money prize of any game show in the Middle East, is a reality edutainment competition between high schools and universities competing to claim the winning title, and every time a student answers a question correctly, the entire school system wins a cash prize. The show’s latest season launched in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education on Thursday, November 29 on Al Kahera Wal Nas and is set to witness fierce competition between 32 public and private schools from all governorates that are going head-to-head.

In addition to encouraging young people to read and learn about many and different themes which contributes to their cultural and scientific capabilities, LG chose to support this program because it creates a new mechanism for students to demonstrate excitement to learn about various scientific and literary fields. In addition, there will be weekly prizes of LG products given to the audience who are watching the show.
