Rising to the Challenge

  The Cross Egypt Challenge launched its third rally last month with the support of Alexandria City Centre, the coastal city’s leading shopping mall. Starting from the Mediterranean’s largest coastal city of Alexandria and crossing Egypt all the way back to the great Pyramids of Giza, Cross Challenge was conceived to support tourism in Egypt and highlight the rich history and heritage the country has to offer. The launch was attended by Akram Zoheir, mall manager for Alexandria City Centre as well as a group of Majid Al Futtaim Properties Egypt and Alexandria City Centre management team and staff. The scooter rally, which ran November 8-16, saw 48 participants from different nationalities traveling across Egypt on their scooters. In celebration of the inauguration of the rally, Alexandria City Centre organized an outstanding event at the mall’s parking lot. Adopting a carnival theme, the mall organized an unforgettable celebration including live music performances, kids area as well as other entertaining activities.
