CAIRO - 15 April 2017: Canadian candidate Amber Bernachi was crowned Miss Eco International 2017 on Friday in a pageant that was held in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh. Bernachi succeeds Miss Eco International 2016 Natalia Sanchez of Costa Rica.

Anzhelika Tahir of Pakistan came as the first runner-up, followed by Belgium’s Fenne Verrecas. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen of Vietnam and Nastasiya Kaptsiuh of Belarus won the third and fourth runner-ups respectively.

The Egyptian candidate Riwan Alaa was declared as Miss Economic and Tourism in the African continent.

Miss Eco International 2017 beauty pageant was held in Egypt for the second consecutive year. It aims to support economic tourism and environment, according to the official Facebook page.
