Egypt Today’s Richard Hoath will speak at the Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Cairo on October 16 at 6 p.m. as part of their weekly Thursday lecture series. Hoath’s lecture will focus on the diversity of Egypt’s wildlife, and will examine some of the rare species found in Egypt’s terrains, from the deserts to the Red Sea. As part of the presentation, Hoath will showcase his own drawings of Egypt’s wildlife, which he has created and preserved over years of exploring the country. Hoath is a faculty member at the American University in Cairo and writes regularly for Egypt Today magazine.
