  1 kg pickles: LE 10 30 servings rice: LE 16 Shisha: LE 7-13 at a coffeeshop, 20-35 at a cafe Homemade basboussa vs. store-bought: LE 20 vs LE 50 Store-bought Kunafa with nuts: LE 60 30 servings laban rayeb: LE 90 30 cups qamar el-din: LE 100 Going out for sohour: LE 5-25 for fuul, LE 50-150 at a cafe and LE 200++ at a five-star hotel Going out for iftar: LE 75 at an average family restaurant to LE 300++ at a five-star hotel   It has become a tradition to give away food bags to the needy, Here's what goes into them: 2 kg macaroni 1 liter oil 1 kg dates 2 kg sugar 2 packs tea 1 kg fava beans 2 kg rice 2 jars tomato paste The average cost is LE 60 for above items, considered basic staples for a family of four.
