CAIRO – 27 July 2017: Ever heard of a celebrity beach? Not a beach for celebrities, a beach that is in itself a celebrity. The one and only Whitehaven beach, Australia.

The beach is 7 km long along Whitsunday Island, Australia, which can be reached by boat, seaplane or helicopters from Hamilton Island or Airlie Beach.

It was the winner of 2008’s cleanest beach award, and named the top Eco Friendly Beach in the world In July 2010 by CNN.

Its sand consists of 98 percent pure silica.
