Ramadan is a beautiful month, but let’s be real—our skin can suffer. Dehydration, messed-up sleep schedules, and all the sweet treats we eat at iftar? Not exactly skincare-friendly. So, say goodbye to dry, dull-looking skin because these tips will keep your skin happy and glowing even during fasting hours.

Hydration is Your Holy Grail
You know the drill—drink enough water. Most celebrities and doctors swear by the wonders of drinking enough water, and to be honest they’ve got a point. However, drinking gallons of water at suhoor isn’t the move. Spread out your water intake from iftar to suhoor, and load up on hydrating foods like cucumbers and yogurt.

Don’t Skip Moisturizer
Since our bodies aren't hydrated during fasting hours, it shows in our skin. To fix that, use a lightweight moisturizer and a hydrating toner in the morning, then load up on the heavy moisturizers at nighttime. Your skincare routine doesn't have to be complicated, keep it minimal and stay consistent.

Go Easy on the Sweets and Salty Foods
All Ramadan desserts are irresistible(especially the kunafa), but too much sugar can lead to breakouts and inflammation. And salty food will make you crave water all day. Balance it out with veggies, protein, and healthy fats to keep your skin calm and healthy.

Get Enough Sleep
You don't want to have puffy eyes all day, right? Then, make sure to get the rest you need to feel refreshed and rejuvenated. Aim for 6 hours of sleep at least to avoid getting dark circles and eye bags.

Eat Superfoods
For glowing skin, whether during Ramadan or not, it's important to eat nutrient-rich foods. Including avocados, walnuts, chia seeds, and dark chocolate in your diet can boost skin health with their antioxidants, biotin, and omega-3s, helping to promote a radiant glow.
