1 medium-size cakeIngredients
11 tbsp flour
8 tbsp soft brown sugar (light or dark)
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch salt
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
6 tbsp milk
6 tbsp vegetable oil
4 figs, sliced
2 tbsp fig or apricot jam
1 tbsp hot water
Mix all dry ingredients and set aside. Mix all wet ingredients and add to dry ingredients. Pour batter in a medium size microwave-safe baking dish. Layer sliced figs on top and bake in the microwave for 3-4 minutes.
