As much as we all love Ramadan with its beautiful spiritual vibes that are like no other, there's always one problem most of us face during fasting. Yes, you guessed it right, the wave of dehydration that hits you from the moment you wake up till the last minute before Iftar. Although it is normal to feel thirsty the whole day, it is essential to prioritize hydration beforehand to stay energized throughout the day. So, let's give you some tricks to stay hydrated even while fasting!

1. Avoid salty food
Try to minimize your intake of salty snacks or processed foods as they are high in sodium and would eventually contribute to dehydration, so it would be better if you consumed low-sodium food.

2. Drink more water in the evening
After Iftar, keep a water bottle next to you and take small sips every now and then. In that way, you will feel less thirsty while also keeping your body hydrated.

3. Consume hydrating foods during Suhoor
The meal you eat in Suhoor plays a vital role in maintaining hydration levels, so make sure you eat plenty of vegetables and fruits like watermelon, cucumbers, oranges for example that are full of essential nutrients.

4. Avoid intense workouts before iftar
Sweating while exercising will cause your body to lose lots of water, thus working out while being unable to drink any water will definitely worsen the situation and make you dehydrated way too soon.
