CAIRO – 4 January 2021: Snow has capped the peaks of the mountains and valeys of Saint Catherine in southern Sinai, and turned white in a peasant scene Tuesday morning.

The splendor of snow scenes on tops of the mountains and low places in the valleys have attracted visitors to the city, those who love to watch the falling and gathering of hail as it forms layers of snow.

Groups of St. Catherine's youths continued to remove snow from the climbing paths of Mount Marsa and Catherine, so that visitors could walk on them during trips heading to the top of the mountain and descending.

Residents of the city of Saint Catherine in South Sinai said that the temperatures in their city today reached "zero".

The charming scenes of snow on the peaks of Saint Catherine's mountains have become a new attraction for tourists from all over Egypt and the world for the city of Saint Catherine.
