After a hiatus of 11 years,Samiha Ayoub is back to stage with ‘Almaz W Se Abdou’ play

CAIRO - 23 January 2021: After a hiatus of 11 years, veteran theaterical actress Samiha Ayoub will be back to theater stage through ”Almaz W Se Abdou’’ play.

The play will be directed by famed theaterical director Mazen el Gharabawy.

Ayoub is the honorary president of Sharm El-Sheikh International Theater Festival for Youth.

It is noteworthy that Ayoub was discovered by the playwright Zaki Tulaimat. Throughout her theatrical career, she participated in 170 plays, including “Rabaa el-Adaweya”, “Seket Salama”, “Demaa’ Ala Astar el-Kaaba”, among others. 

Additionally, Ayoub had numerous contributions to cinema and television production. Her distinguished film contributions include “Ard el-Nefaq”, “Fagr el-Islam”, and “Bein al-Atlal,” while her notable television works include “El Doo’ el-Shared”, “Awan el-Ward”, and “El-Masrawiya.” 

Ayoub received many awards from several presidents, including late presidents Gamal Abdel Nasser and Anwar Sadat, as well as Syrian late President Hafez al-Assad and late French President Giscard d'Estaing.
